The first Crumelurs appeared in a hotel room in Stockholm in Feburay 2019, when I was drawing while talking on the phone as I usually do, i.e., phone doodling. I had bought some new pens and was playing around and ended up with a full-color drawing. I was very surprised, and since then, Crumelurs keep appearing as soon as I sit down to draw. I never know what will happen, who will show up in what surroundings. Actually, they draw themselves, and my part is to hold the pens.
I use a fine liner to draw them and alcohol-based markers for coloring. Sizes of drawings are primarily A2, and occasionally I do A3 and A4. It has turned out to be a kind of meditation, and that puts me into a flow. I’ve always used various methods and tools within the arts to express myself, e.g., ceramics, acrylic -and oil painting, coal, and various pencils for drawing.
Another artistic side of mine is that I’m a writer, blogger, and author. I wrote the first Swedish book on digital working life. My latest book is “I’m a Cebra on the digitized Savanna – are you? How to succeed in the digitized working life”. The writing and blogging have so far primarily been about topics in areas of my working life. The writing skills are what I use as a communicator.
My day-to-day work varies quite a bit, since I’m also as a consultant, investing in people and businesses. In short, I’m inpowering people and businesses within the southern Sweden tech startup/ scaleup ecosystem, as well as in Europe, to flourish.
The Crumelurs keep me living here and now, reminding me that the meaning of life is to enjoy it every day, in your ways and means. And of course, though without harming anyone.
